What are the next steps?
After reviewing the information included in the petition and giving time for each side to prepare testimony, the Iowa Utilities Board will host a quasi-judicial hearing where the approval or denial of ETP’s permit will be decided.

Comments submitted to the IUB help elevate grassroots opposition to the pipeline, and are the only way to voice official opposition prior to the IUB’s hearing that will permit or deny a permit to the Bakken Pipeline.
