MONDAY, JULY 25 in DES MOINES: Stand with the Higginbottom family next Monday in Des Moines at their condemnation hearing in Polk County. Join with Bakken Pipeline Resistance Coalition members Iowa CCI and Bold Iowa for a rally prior to the condemnation hearing:
- Monday, July 25 from 8:45 – 10:00 a.m., Polk County building (2309 Euclid Ave, Des Moines)
- 8:45 A.M: Arrive and meet up outside the hearing
- 9:00 A.M: Higginbottom condemnation hearing
- 9:30 A.M. (approx.): Press conference with landowners and pipeline fighters
Please come with your friends, wear your No Pipeline t-shirts or blue, and show your peaceful support for these heroic families who have shouldered a big burden the last two years standing up to Big Oil. While our state’s leaders have held the hand of Dakota Access, these landowners have continued to be brave guardians of our soil, water, and community health.
